I just read an article on the Oral Care CoP which evaluated the impact of the CoP (through the use of skill-based webinars) in its ability to affect system change. http://www.health-policy-systems.com/content/13/1/33



Suggestions made by the authors were that CoPs can be instrumental in leading system change but they need to operate at multiple levels of the system and be supported to influence those changes. However, the literature is insufficient at this point to suggest ways that CoPs can influence health systems change.
