Making the Link Between Age-Friendly Communities and Falls Prevention

Hi everyone!
I am the knowledge broker for the provincial Age-Friendly Community Planning Outreach Initiative. We are gathering resources and community profiles on our new website (www.agefriendlyontario.ca) to highlight what is happening and help communities accelerate their work. On our last webinar (http://conta.cc/1P0142g) one of the presenters described how Haliburton used a falls prevention mandate within their Public Health Unit to launch their local age-friendly work. I'm interested to know if any other communities have a similar experience linking these initiatives?
