What if Falls Risk were treated like a Chronic Illness?

I've been doing some research on exemplary program practices for supporting persons living with chronic illnesses...and as I'm doing so, I'm seeing so many parallels with those at risk for falls injuries. I see how much Social Support can come in supportive group learning systems supported by physicians and community health units.
