Clinical Assessment tools for primary practice from jurisdictions outside of BC

Posted March 22, 2018

As part of our work on a Lifetime Prevention Schedule, a team of researchers have been looking for Canadian jurisdictional information on falls prevention screening for seniors, and on rates of screening or rates of uptake. So far, the following jurisdictions are gaps in our knowledge. We can't seem to access or find info on clinical screening/assessment tools for seniors' falls, or their adherence/update. Are any of you able to help me fill in the blanks?

- Quebec

- New Brunswick

- Nova Scotia

- Newfoundland

What I'm thinking of are things like the BERG balance scale, TUG, Falls Efficacy Scale and specific gait assessment tools.

Thank you in advance, everyone!
