Falls in the Home: In what areas do most falls occur?

Hello.



I am trying to locate Canadian research on falls in the home among older adults. Specifically, I am looking for any detailed information on where the most falls occur. I was able to find general answers - such as in the bathroom, kitchen and on the stairs from Veterans Affairs Canada. However, I am looking for more in-depth information about these areas. What features of the built environment make them so hazardous? Curious if anyone has come across research in this realm specific to Canada? I can glean from American and European sources but just thought I would ask.
