National Fall Prevention Conference cancelled June 2020 Saskatoon

Posted March 30, 2020

We regret to inform you that 5th Canadian Falls Prevention Conference 2020, scheduled for June 15th & 16th, as well as the Pre-Conference workshop on June 14th, have been cancelled.

The conference planning committee has been closely monitoring the developments related to the novel coronavirus outbreak (COVID-19) and we have decided to cancel the event is based on concern for the health of our registrants, speakers, exhibitors and staff. This decision was not made lightly, however, given the rapidly evolving nature of the situation and reports from the World Health Organization (WHO), Health Canada, and The Saskatchewan Health Authority our primary concern at this point is protecting everyone involved with the conference.

CERS recognizes and greatly appreciates the hard work and dedication many of its members put into developing the conference — especially our presenters and speakers who have undoubtedly been preparing for presentations. We also appreciate the support from our sponsors.

We sincerely regret this necessary cancellation and apologize for any inconvenience it may cause you. We have made arrangements for all those registered to be provided with full refunds, including sponsors. Conference registration fees will be refunded automatically. Refunds should be issued within 1-3 weeks. We apologize for the delay, however in light of many events being canceled the registration office is doing their best to keep up. If you have any refund inquiries please contact (306)966-5539.
