Looking for Fall Prevention Month Activities and New Member Joining ONF
Posted May 12, 2020
Hello everyone,
My name is Mirrian, I am currently a Master of Public Health candidate at Western University. I am joining the Ontario Neurotrauma Foundation (ONF) Prevention Team for my summer practicum placement. I will be working on the annual Fall Prevention Month (FPM) campaign, specifically developing ideas for activities based on stakeholder input to help people take action during FPM 2020. I’m excited to utilize my skills and what I’ve learned to this project while gaining more experience. I look forward to working with you all this summer and supporting the annual Fall Prevention Month planning.
Fall Prevention Month (FPM) is an annual call to action campaign that encourages Canadian organizations and individuals to come together to deploy fall prevention efforts in November of every year for a coordinated and larger impact. The bilingual FPM website consists of resources to help organizations take action to prevent falls. I understand that the Fall Prevention Month 2019 campaign was a very successful one with lots of activities and events hosted and promoted. We are looking to add more successful activities on the FPM website under 'Ideas for Activities'. Please reach out to me to share information about your activities by emailing me at prevention@onf.org or messaging me in Loop. I look forward to hearing from you!
Sincere,
Mirrian Li
