Rapid Review: The impact of poor oral health on fall risk among older adults

I wanted to share a rapid review summary report that I recently completed along with Dr. Tilak Dutta, Marguerite Thomas, and Dr. Neha Dewan. We assessed the association between oral health and fall risk among older adults based on current literature. This is part of ongoing work of the Oral Health and Advocates group. 


Please feel free to give it a read! We identify which oral health factors are associated with fall risk, implications that may appeal to healthcare practitioners, limitations of the studies included in our review, areas of future research, and considerations for future, more comprehensive reviews on the topic. Discussion and comments are welcome!
