Early interventions and awareness on Geriatric Syndromes and seniors health

Posted March 8, 2024

I am wondering if you have any resources or information on studies/implementation of early interventions and education on geriatric syndromes in Canada or elsewhere. I am specifically looking into resources if there has been any effort made on educating people in the age group of 60 and above on fall prevention, frailty, and other geriatric syndromes to look for and if it has shown any measurable outcomes. So far, I can only find all the studies done on people 65 yrs of age and above. Similarly, I can only find data on hospitalization, mortality, cost on the healthcare post fall related injury and sequelae in the age group of 65+. I do not see much information in the age group of 60-65 years, and it may be due to the possibility that falls and other symptoms are not very prevalent in this age group? I am curious to know more on this matter as my knowledge is limited.

Many thanks,
