Input requested: Concussion resource for older adults

Posted December 10, 2024

Many concussion resources are aimed at children and youth, parents, coaches, health professionals and other adults in roles caring for children and youth. Older adults who have experienced a concussion may not feel represented in these resources or that any resources have been developed for them or with them.

To start addressing this gap, Parachute, a national injury prevention charity, is developing an informational resource about concussion specifically for older adults, in English and French.

We are seeking input from older adults, families and caregivers, and health professionals and other service providers who care for older adults.

The survey will close January 8, 2025.
