Do you support caregivers aged 55+ living in Toronto?

Hoping to share some information on a new project aimed at supporting caregiver mental health. See here for project announcement: https://ontario.cmha.ca/news/new-cmha-initiative-targets-caregivers-55/

We are seeking isolated caregivers aged 55+ that are looking for skills/knowledge to cope with life's challenges. Living Life to the Full is an 8-week course based on the principles of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT). It is a fun, interactive, evidence based course that has been demonstrated to reduce stress and low mood in older adults. This course is valued at $185/person, but we are offering it free through this initiative.

Courses are being listed here, as well as how to register: http://ontario.cmha.ca/public-policy/living-life-to-the-full/living-life-full-caregivers-55/

Any questions feel free to contact me at jhardy@ontario.cmha.ca.

Would hate this opportunity to pass caregivers by due to lack of awareness - so any support in dissemination would be greatly apprecaited!

The best way we can reach this population is to spread the word across and within organizations serving seniors. I would hate for this opportunity to pass seniors due to lack of awareness.
