Queen’s University Aging & Health Programs

Yesterday I had the good fortune to sit on a professional development panel for students of Queen’s University's Aging & Health Programs. The panel was part of their intensive in-person weekend session here in Kingston. Other panelists included representatives from non-profit, publicly funded and private sector organizations - a nice range of disciplines & perspectives!
Despite being at the end of a very busy weekend, the students were eager to hear from us and came prepared with some great questions about opportunities & future directions in the broad field of aging & health and competencies that would set them up for success. Naturally, I encouraged them all to register for free on Loop :)
The Graduate Diploma (GDip), Master of Science (MSc) and Doctorate (PhD) in Aging and Health are innovative programs that provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of aging, with a focus on health and healthy living. Students develop multi-disciplinary knowledge of individual aging processes, the effect of aging on social systems, and the policies needed to support healthy aging.
