What do new members think about Loop?

Posted Le 30 novembre 2017

On November 2nd, 2017, a New Member Feedback Survey was distributed to Loop members who signed up within the last 6 months.

The objectives of this survey were to find out:

  • How new members are hearing about Loop and why they chose to sign up

  • How easy or difficult it is for new members to sign up/navigate Loop

  • Which Loop features new members have used (or not used) and are intending to use (or not use)

Here's what we found out!

  • The majority of respondents indicated that they heard about Loop through a colleague/friend/manager

  • Respondents joined Loop to access information, current evidence, resources and tools, as well as educational opportunities and events. They also joined to connect and engage with other practitioners, share learnings and discuss practice

  • Respondents find it easy to sign up and navigate Loop

  • The most popular features used by new Loop members include attending webinars, reading the newsletter, searching/posting in the events calendar and reading the discussion board

  • Respondents indicated that they intend to use Loop's library services and post on the discussion board in the future

  • Few members provided information about why they may not be using, or do not intend to use, various Loop features, however, responses given do not seem to indicate that the reasons are related to challenges/barriers using Loop

Do you have feedback about Loop? Do you have questions about any of Loop's features? Add your comments to this discussion.

We'd love to hear from you.

Thanks to the Fall Prevention Community of Practice subgroup who planned, implemented and evaluated the new member survey. Thanks also to our new members who responded to the survey! A $30 giftcard was our incentive to new members to complete the survey. It was provided to one lucky winner after the new member survey closed.
