Alcohol related falls in older adults

Hi

Does any one have any data or research on the incidence of alcohol related falls in older adults. The CIHI Data indicates that older adults are the highest users of hospital EDs that are wholly attributable to alcohol. The COPA Community Outreach Programs in Addictions ( for older adults) see many older adults with falls and fractures. Certainly this is something we can be proactive and look at prevention from debilitating falls fractures and ABI's in this population.
