From CSA--Hip Protector Standard--Public Review
Posted Le 16 août 2019
Sharing from the Canadian Standards Association (CSA):
CSA is pleased to announce that the draft first edition CSA Z325 Hip Protectors is now at the Public Review Stage.
As with every CSA standard, Z325 is a living document. This first draft reflects the best efforts of the committee that developed it, Canadian Standards Association (CSA)'s Technical Committee on Hip Protectors.
This New Standard specifies testing and labelling requirements for hip protectors used to reduce the risk of hip fracture in the event of a fall.
The 60-day Public Review process is meant as a way to get input from the broader health care community. We invite you to take this opportunity to provide suggestions on the first edition of this important standard. It is very important that key stakeholders in the manufacturing and use of hip protectors review the document and submit comments and suggested corrections before publication.
To review the draft and post comments, please visit CSA Group Public Review site: https://publicreview.csa.ca
For new visitors, a one-time registration is required. You may then comment directly online.
Public Review comments will be accepted until September 5th, 2019. For additional information or questions on the CSA Public Review, please feel free to contact Cassandra Gullia at 416-747-2321 or Cassandra.Gullia@csagroup.org
