Sharing Fall Prevention Month Articles for Senior's Magazines and Newsletters

Fall Prevention Month is rapidly approaching and we now have three NEW* articles for you to share with local (or any) senior's magazines or newsletters. Check out the Fall Prevention Month website https://www.fallpreventionmonth.ca/fpm-articles  

The articles are currently only in English, but are in the process of being translated to French. The first article on Oral Health illustrates how poor oral care can lead to problems with attaining good nutrition. Without good nutrition, chronic health issues can begin or worsen, making it difficult to maintain the strength, flexibility and balance needed to avoid falls. Our Colleague, Researcher Neha Dewan, has written "A Tale of Two Men and Their Teeth", which is her personal journey with her father and husband and their toothsome woes. The third article describes two uncommon risk factors for falls - heat and water. Check it out because we keep on learning! Some editors plan their editions months ahead, but these articles will be relevant anytime they can be published. There is no fee and no requirement for permission. Thank you for sharing.
