Suggest using fall before key words to create mini-phrases that may keep us more alert to hazards/conditions. Example "Fall watch" or "Fall assess" or "Fall concious".

Just trying to get people to think more of daily or ground zero fall avoidance by using words that trigger a sort of combination memory, reminding us to take action. An example might be "Fall ice" or "Fall balance" or "Fall slippery" so that when in certain situations our minds may tell us to be more alert in some way. Fall balance could mean get your feet in a better stance. Fall ice may remind us, this is best avoided or take steps to negotiate the iced area.
Up north, they had 100 words for different snow conditions so obviously they were attempting to define conditions more carefully and one must think more safely so I guess my best summary would be how can we use language to improve safety over time. Convey the meaning but also for that language to be part of the structure of the cure or remedy and which will carry on giving benefits for a long time in the future. Eventually some wording combinations will stick.
We can make up long complicated lists of "what, why, when, where to and how to do's" but how do you refine that down to something that works, that will roll-over for generations to come.
Our goals should include spotting weakness in what we have already with an eye to improving our standards going forward - and to me this suggests developing a central structure with standards that we find ways to assess so that we know they are working.
That is the purpose of a coalition to pull together and sift ideas.
