Ontario Seniors Community Grant Program

Has anyone applied for funding through the Ontario Seniors Community Grant Program (http://www.seniors.gov.on.ca/en/srsorgs/scgp.php) in the past? If you have, would you mind sharing your experience with me (i.e. how difficult the application process was, who you partnered with if applicable, programs/services introduced as a result, etc.)? I see they have a list of previous grant recipients on the website, but I would love to hear someone's personal experience with it if possible. I'm not sure that I would apply for a grant this year but would like more info. about this for future reference.
