Mid-life falls: is anybody watching?
Posted Le 8 mars 2016
"Hospital visits caused by falls begin to rise in the 25-34 age group and reach a high point
in the 45-54 age group that is only exceeded by individuals 80 and older." (see Richard Volpe's Report for ONF on Best Practices in the Prevention of Mid-life Falls in Everyday Activities, p6)
Who is talking about this?
Would efforts be better aimed at the 45-54 and the 80+ age groups instead of 65+ which seems both too late and too soon?
