Engaging Clients & Families in Falls Prevention Work

Posted Le 8 mai 2019

As many of you are aware, Accreditation Canada is really focusing upon the engagement of clients and families in every aspect of the programs and services healthcare organizations deliver. As we prepare for our upcoming survey, we are considering ways to do this. We have discussed involving our Resident Councils at our long term care facilities and perhaps having focus groups of selected clients and families to ask them how we can better share information with them regarding falls prevention. I would love to hear from LOOP members other ideas we could consider. Thank you.
