#FallPreventionCanada

Posted Le 6 août 2020

Parachute recently received funding from the Community Foundations of Canada to produce a campaign urging seniors to make exercise part of their stay-at-home life and provide information on effective ways to do so.

We are excited to share with you all that our #FallPreventionCanada work has officially launched, including three humorous (and educational) videos starring Canadian Comedian Brittlestar, and two resources targeting older adults and their caregivers. The messaging is designed to encourage seniors to stay active while spending more time at home, with tips for caregivers to support these efforts. You can find the videos and the resources at parachute.ca/fallpreventioncanada under the #FallPreventionCanada resources subheading.

We’d of course love to hear your thoughts on the campaign, and we will be posting on our @ParachuteCanada social media accounts to help amplify the message, with the hashtag #FallPreventionCanada.

Thank you!
